Restorative Sound Healing

Gong Yoga Nidra, Gong Meditation, Kundalini Yoga, Drumming

Benefits Of Restorative Sound Healing:

Immerse yourself in sound where you can feel the frequency in the deepest parts of your body. Gongs help to easily create a meditative state where the brain emits healing theta waves. The combination of  Gongs, Yoga Nidra, and Kundalini Yoga can create within us the deepest levels of meditation achieved by well practiced yogis. In this state, the consequences of stress are reversed. Blood pressure and cortisol levels drop. The heart rate slows and the body begins the process of rejuvenation and healing. The benefits of entering this state on a regular basis are that the unpleasant symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, depression, addiction, and PTSD are reduced.

Gong Yoga Nidra

An ancient practice of NSDR (non sleep deep rest) using breath and body awareness techniques to help guide you to a state of non-doing, a highly regenerative state. Effortlessly release the struggling and striving to get somewhere and practice the art of doing nothing to arrive exactly where you want to be. The sounds and vibrations of the gongs during Yoga Nidra help to induce a hypnagogic state of receptivity. They direct and focus the mind’s attention and enhance visualization

This practice will create a full-body listening experience that can bring balance, relaxation, and calm to your whole being.

Annemarie's gong playing is deeply attuned to the nervous system, offering a profoundly restorative and transformative experience.

Gongs help to facilitate:

  • deep relaxation and stress relief

  • pain relief and clearing of the mind

  • restorative meditation with visualization

  • vibrational balance and mind-body harmony

  • immune system stimulation

  • improved glandular functioning

  • the movement of prana (life force energy)

  • relief of habitual negative thought patterns

  • stimulation of creativity

  • boosting of will-power and confidence

  • heightened spiritual exploration and self-discovery

  • deep connection with the vastness beyond the finite self

Atoms are in a constant state of motion and depending on their speed, things appear as a solid, liquid, gas, plasma, or condensate. Sound and thoughts are vibration, energy in motion.
