About The Event
Surfing rhythms as a group is an amazing experience. We'll be exploring traditional West African rhythms, learning the all the parts to create incredible, richly layered polyrhythms. We'll learn the 3 dunun parts (the heart of the rhythms) and various djembe parts (the conversation on top). You'll develop the confidence to take what you learn and fully participate in and enhance any drum circle you attend. No experience necessary, drums available or bring your own. $12 Beginning Tuesday March 28th at 5:30
