Seven Gong Chakra Sound Bath at The HarmonyHouse (1)

Immerse yourself in sound where you can feel the frequency in the deepest parts of your body. The gongs help to easily create a meditative state where the brain emits healing theta waves. This practice will create a full-body listening experience that can bring balance, relaxation, and calm to your whole being.

Unlike certain meditations or breathwork practices, this gong meditation won't involve much guidance. Instead, you will simply be called upon to be present, listen, and allow stillness to wash over you. You will feel completely off-duty. Your body has permission to slow down and rest, to receive without the need to respond or react. The gongs will engage the brains visual cortex, leading to incredible visualizations.

The sounds will begin to provide a stable frequency for fluctuating brain waves to latch on to, in a process known as entrainment. Using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves, and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and reach theta (meditative state) where deep internal healing can occur.
